Folding Bikes To Fit Your Billfold

When I was much younger, I had a bike with a banana seat.  It was the epitome of everything I thought was perfect in a road bike.  I didn’t change that opinion when I discovered, years later, that all bicycles seemed to have very small, hard, and uncomfortable seats.  I knew there was a point to this that involved the aerodynamics of men’s bikes, but I missed having options.

The good news is there are more options now than there have ever been.  Granted, sometimes it’s hard to decide between a road bike, a trek bike, or a trail bike, let alone all the different styles and colors each of these bikes comes in, but it’s far better to have too many options than too few.  And my friends who are far more into the sport than I am tell me that there’s a good reason to have a different men’s bicycle for the different types of riding.

Whether I’m looking for a trail bike or a trek bike, I have to admit that in many ways my favorite option is that of the men’s folding bike. I can take this bike anywhere.  It fits easily in the car and leaves room in the camper for all that other stuff like food and clothes and sleeping bags.  Mainly I like it because it provides me with the opportunity to explore a lot more of a town or trail than I might otherwise do when I’m on vacation.  Walking is great exercise and a good way to see things, but it takes forever to get anywhere, not to mention getting back.  A folding bike is the perfect men’s bicycle choice for travel and sight-seeing.
